Sweet Latin Soul II (1962-1974)


Nueva York siempre ha sido un crisol de música! En los años 50 la música latina se enamoró de la música Jazz, y Jazz se enamoró de los ritmos Afro Cubanos! Durante los años 60 muchos artistas Nu Yorcan se influenciaron de los sonidos que oían a su alrededor en las calles de la Gran Manzana. Doo Wop, Soul & Funk estuvieron muy presentes en la música latina y esta sesión se centra en algunos de los más raros y dulces sonidos que provienen de esa época! Hecho con 100% vinilo.

New York has always been a melting pot for music! In the 50s Latin music fell in love with Jazz, and Jazz fell in love with these Afro Cuban rhythms! During the 60s many Nu Yorican artists were heavily influenced by the sounds around them in the streets & clubs of the Big Apple. Doo Wop, Soul & Funk are heavily present in many latin music recordings from the 60s & this mix focuses on some of the rarest sweet grooves that came from that era! Recorded from 100% vinyl.
